A Woman’s Place

Domestic Violence Center.  Telephone and short-term individual in-person counseling for victims/survivors and their children; emergency shelter for victim/survivors and their children.

Bucks County Children & Youth Social Services Agency

Protective services for children and youth ages 0 to 18; social services to assist families and children where abuse/neglect may be present; referrals from schools, agencies, police, professionals, concerned citizens, neighbors.

ChildLine of Pennsylvania – 1-800-932-0313 -Receives reports statewide of suspected child abuse/neglect from professional and community sources; refers our county’s reports to Bucks County Children & Youth Social Services Agency for investigation and appropriate services; maintains a registry of substantiated reports of child abuse; confidential.

NSC’s Refugee and Community Integration (RCI) department provides a wide-range of services to meet the needs of victims of human trafficking. They are the largest and most comprehensive provider of services in the Greater Philadelphia region.  Victims of human trafficking are put on a path to self-sufficiency and a safe permanent residency.

Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA)

Crisis intervention and short-term individual and group counseling for victims and their significant others for sexual assault and other serious crimes.  Information and referral; accompaniment to hospital; preparation and accompaniment to all legal proceedings.

Salvation Army of Philadelphia

New Day Drop in Center (located on Kesington Avenue) – The center is a safe, trauma informed, welcoming and non-judgmental space for women suffering from sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Synergy Project

The Synergy Project, a street outreach program, is designed to help runaway, homeless, nomadic and street youth, age 21 and under, in Allentown, Bucks County and Philadelphia.
