PennDOT Training to Help Combat Human Trafficking –
Governor Wolf announced that PennDOT will be starting a new training program to train Driver License Center staff to recognize signs of trafficking. Members of the Public Transportation Association will be trained as well. Employees will be taught how to call the appropriate authorities and what type of information to collect. The training is expected to be complete by summer 2017. Wallet cards will be distributed to commercial drivers who visit Driver License Centers on how to report human trafficking to law enforcement.
